Harahori Telecom LLP ("Harahori Telecom", "we", "us", "our") operates an online platform for purchasing electronics and home appliances — including smartphones, refrigerators, televisions and other consumer electronics (the "Platform"). This Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

By using our website, mobile app, or services, you agree to the practices described here. If anything is unclear, our contact details are at the end of this page.

§ 01

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details — name, email, mobile number and password.
  • Delivery details — shipping address, billing address, landmark and pin code.
  • Order details — products purchased (mobile handsets, refrigerators, other appliances) and, where relevant, device IMEI or serial numbers for warranty registration.
  • Payment details — we never store your full card number or CVV; payments are processed by our RBI-authorised payment partners. We may retain the last four digits of a card, a UPI ID, or a payment token for order history and refunds.
  • Communications — messages to customer support, reviews and ratings, survey responses.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information — model, operating system, unique device identifiers.
  • Log data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URL.
  • Location — approximate location from your IP, or, with your permission, precise GPS location in our app to estimate delivery times.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 3.

Information from third parties

  • Payment gateways and banks — transaction status and fraud-risk signals.
  • Logistics and delivery partners — delivery status updates.
  • EMI and financing partners, where you choose to pay via EMI or cardless credit.
  • Manufacturers and authorised service centres, for warranty and after-sales coordination.
§ 02

How we use your information

  • Process, confirm and deliver your orders — including scheduling installation or demonstration for large appliances such as refrigerators.
  • Register product warranties and coordinate after-sales service and repairs.
  • Provide customer support and respond to queries or complaints.
  • Personalise your shopping experience and recommend relevant products.
  • Send order updates, service alerts and — with your consent — promotional communications.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorised transactions and misuse of the Platform.
  • Meet our tax, accounting, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
  • Improve our website, app and services through analytics.
§ 03

Cookies & tracking technologies

  • Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember your cart — the Platform won't work properly without these.
  • Performance cookies help us understand how the Platform is used, so we can fix issues and improve it.
  • Marketing cookies show you relevant offers on our Platform and elsewhere, only with consent where required by law.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie-consent banner. Disabling essential cookies may affect how the Platform works.

§ 04

How we share your information

  • Delivery and logistics partners, so they can ship and deliver your order.
  • Payment gateways, banks and EMI/NBFC partners, to process payments and financing.
  • Installation and after-sales technicians, and manufacturers, for warranty support.
  • Cloud hosting and IT service providers who process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Government or regulatory authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Harahori Telecom, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

§ 05

Data security

  • Industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit.
  • Access controls that limit employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
  • PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through our payment partners.
  • Regular security reviews of our systems and vendors.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but protecting your data is something we take seriously at every layer of the Platform.

§ 06

Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as required to meet tax, accounting, warranty and consumer-protection obligations — typically up to 8 years from your last transaction — or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

§ 07

Your rights & choices

  • Access and update your profile from your account settings.
  • Opt out of promotional email, SMS or push notifications at any time.
  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to our legal retention duties — visit our Delete Account page to start this.
  • Withdraw consent for optional uses (like location access or marketing cookies) at any time.
§ 08

Children's privacy

The Platform is intended for people aged 18 or over, or purchases made with a parent or guardian's involvement. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we've done so inadvertently, we'll delete it.

§ 09

Third-party links

The Platform may link to third-party sites, such as manufacturer support pages. We aren't responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies before sharing information with them.

§ 10

International data transfers

Your information may be stored and processed on servers outside your state or country, including for cloud-hosting purposes. Where this happens, we take steps to keep your data protected to the standard described in this Policy.

§ 11

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll flag material changes on the Platform or by email, and update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Using the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the update.
